Shamu Attacks!!!

Ok, I didn’t work at Sea World Orlando, but I did work at Sea World San Diego, many times in Shamu Stadium, and I have seen the Shamu whale show many many times. Apparently, this afternoon, a  killer whale at Sea World Orlando, attacked and killed a female trainer in front of a horrified audience. That’s why they are called killer whales, and no matter how domesticated they are, they retain some of their natural instincts, and in a flash can revert to their wild ways. Aren’t we the same? No matter how holy, pious, humble we are, do we not sometimes, fly into a rage of unholy, prideful sin? We aren’t that different, at times, to the domesticated whale, who forgets all that they have come to learn and know and love, and just attack. Let’s try not to be like Shamu, but continue to be trained by God, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and not turn back to our former ways.
